SEE YA! Leftist Rocker Neil Young Demands Spotify Ban Joe Rogan or Remove His Music From Their Streaming Platform… Guess Who’s Leaving?

 Earlier this week, musician Neil Young wrote to Spotify and gave them an ultimatum. He demanded that they either remove Joe Rogan’s podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience‘, from their platform, or remove his music. Young said he wanted Rogan’s podcast taken off the streaming service because it was spreading ‘COVID misinformation’ to the public, specifically about vaccinations.

In a letter to his management team and record label, Young wrote, “I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform. They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”

“I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines — potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them,” Young continued. “Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.”

Young meant to make a huge statement and crush Rogan for speaking out against the Liberal agenda. However, his actions ended up backfiring big time.

Today, Spotify announced that it was removing Young’s music and leaving Rogan’s podcast on its platform.

A spokesperson for Spotify made a statement on the issue, saying, “We want all the world’s music and audio content to be available to Spotify users. With that comes great responsibility in balancing both safety for listeners and freedom for creators.”

“We have detailed content policies in place and we’ve removed over 20,000 podcast episodes related to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic,” the statement continued. “We regret Neil’s decision to remove his music from Spotify, but hope to welcome him back soon.”

Ultimately, the streaming platform decided to maintain freedom of speech for its creators.
