EXCLUSIVE: Sen. Lummis: Fauci ‘Lied to the American People and Congress’ and Is ‘Responsible for the Overwhelming Number of Deaths’ Because He Blocked Ivermectin

More Americans have died with COVID-19 listed as the cause of death than the number of U.S. service members killed in World War II.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data record more than 1.1 million COVID-19 deaths in the United States through 2025. The Department of Veterans Affairs and Congressional Research Service list 405,399 American military deaths in World War II. That disparity framed the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday at which Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, appeared.
Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times, declined to answer questions about pandemic origins, research funding, his diaries, treatment guidelines, and related decisions. Committee Chairman Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., scheduled a vote next week on whether to hold Fauci in contempt of Congress.
Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., told The Gateway Pundit that Fauci deliberately misled the American people and Congress and that accountability remains unresolved despite a presidential pardon.
“He has certainly lied to the American people and to the Congress,” Lummis said. “And I don’t know what outcome and authority we have. And as you know President Biden pardoned him when Biden left office. So, I’ll wait and see what our chances are of holding him accountable in at least some way.”
Lummis linked the elevated U.S. death toll relative to other nations to the suppression of early treatment options. Multiple frontline doctors and nurses previously told The Gateway Pundit that the standard hospital protocols under federal guidance were themselves killing patients.
“I do know this: He’s responsible for the overwhelming number of deaths that occurred in this country that did not occur in other countries because they were using ivermectin,” Lummis told The Gateway Pundit.
She described the professional cost for physicians who tried to prescribe the medication.
“We had doctors that lost their hospital privileges in this country and lost their ability to save patients because they lost access to Ivermectin as a treatment,” Lummis said. “Virologists worldwide knew that Ivermectin was a successful treatment and inexpensive– and Dr. Fauci opposed what he knew was a successful and inexpensive and readily available treatment. And he has a lot to answer for.”
