Police Release Bodycam Footage of Tiger Woods’ Rollover Crash (VIDEO)
Police on Thursday released bodycam footage of Tiger Woods’ rollover crash.
Last Friday, Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover car crash in Jupiter, Florida.
The crash happened near 281 Beach Road.
Authorities said Tiger Woods took a breathalyzer test and blew “triple zeros,” which means alcohol was not a factor.
Woods then refused to submit a urine test, so he was arrested and charged with a DUI.
Tiger Woods was not injured in the crash.
“I looked down at my phone and all of a sudden, boom,” Woods told the police officer.
Earlier this week Tiger Woods said he would be stepping away to seek treatment.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” Tiger Woods said in a statement.
“I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery,” Tiger said.
“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time,” Tiger added.
In February 2021, Tiger Woods was injured in a rollover car crash in Ranchos Palos Verdes, California.
Woods was hospitalized with leg injuries in 2021.
