WATCH: Trump Says Violent ICE Rioters “Will Have to Suffer” After Directing DHS to be “Forceful” Against Far-Left Rioters who Attack Federal Property

President Trump on Saturday told reporters that Violent anti-ICE rioters will not be tolerated, but instead “met with very, very serious force,” going forward.

This comes amid heightened tensions following the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, who joined a mob of violent leftists who have been clashing with federal agents repeatedly over the last year. It was only a matter of time until somebody died while attacking ICE agents, as happened with the two.

Good was shot and killed after attempting to run over an agent in her car, and Pretti, who had a history of violent encounters and spitting on ICE agents, engaged with federal agents while armed with a gun.

President Trump directed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Saturday to “guard, and very powerfully so, any and all Federal Buildings that are being attacked by these highly paid Lunatics, Agitators, and Insurrectionists.”

“Please be aware that I have instructed ICE and/or Border Patrol to be very forceful in this protection of Federal Government Property,” Trump announced in a statement.

“There will be no spitting in the faces of our Officers, there will be no punching or kicking the headlights of our cars, and there will be no rock or brick throwing at our vehicles, or at our Patriot Warriors. If there is, those people will suffer an equal, or more, consequence.”

When asked by a reporter about his statement, Trump doubled down, telling reporters, “If they do anything bad to our people, they will have to suffer.”

“If they start spitting in people’s faces, watching our people, watching our soldiers, our patriots, they will get taken care of in at least an equal way,” Trump continued.

“If they throw bricks at a car, at one of our vehicles and our very expensive vehicles, they’re going to be met with very, very serious force.”

WATCH:

Reporter: Back to your post on ICE protests, what did you mean when you said people will suffer an equal or greater consequence?

Trump: If they do anything bad to our people, they will be— they will have to suffer. I’m sorry. If they start spitting in people’s faces, watching our people, watching our soldiers, our patriots, they will get taken care of in at least an equal way. They’re not going to do that like, you know, you see it, the way they treat our people. And I said you’re allowed— if somebody does that, you can do something back.

You’re not going to stand there and take it. If somebody spits in your face. That will not be a pleasant thing for the person that spits. We’re not letting people spit in our soldiers’ face as they stand at attention, and they’re not allowed to do anything. If they throw bricks at a car, at one of our vehicles and our very expensive vehicles, they’re going to be met with very, very serious force.
