Hunter Biden SHOCKS Democrat Establishment, Denounces Joe Biden’s Open Border and Says America Should NOT Prioritize Illegal Immigrants

 Hunter Biden – the embattled son of Joe Biden – delivered a blistering critique of illegal immigration during his marathon, unfiltered sit-down with former Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan on the popular “Shawn Ryan Show.”

What emerged was something no one in the Democrat establishment expected.

The interview landed like a political grenade inside Democrat circles because Hunter Biden openly contradicted the core immigration posture of his father’s administration.

While the Biden White House spent four years insisting the border was “secure,” Hunter acknowledged what millions of Americans have lived with: unchecked illegal immigration drains public resources and displaces priorities away from veterans and working citizens.

“We need a vibrant immigration,” Hunter said, “but we don’t want immigrants that are coming here illegally, draining us of resources and being prioritized above people that are actual literal heroes that are coming home, that are still recovering from 20 years of endless war or anybody else in our society, right?”

During Joe Biden’s presidency (January 2021–January 2025), illegal immigration surged to levels never before recorded in U.S. history.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data, southwest border encounters exploded:

• Over 8–10 million total encounters nationwide from FY2021 through late 2024
• Approximately 8.7 million encounters at the southwest border alone
• Annual averages near 2 million encounters per year from 2021–2023
• Record-breaking peaks in FY2023 and FY2024
• A significant share of encounters involved repeat crossers, undermining claims of “one-time” migration events

Meanwhile, independent estimates of the illegal alien population skyrocketed:

• ~10–11 million in early 2021
• 13.7–14 million by 2023–mid-2024, according to analyses from Pew Research Center and the Migration Policy Institute
• That figure exceeds the population of 36–41 U.S. states

Within weeks of taking office, the administration dismantled Trump-era enforcement measures, including:

• Ending Remain in Mexico
• Massively expanding parole programs such as CHNV, admitting hundreds of thousands from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela
• Weakening interior enforcement and asylum integrity

When the president’s own son admits that illegal immigration drains resources and unfairly prioritizes noncitizens over veterans and citizens, the narrative collapses. The usual smears—“racist,” “xenophobic,” “fear-mongering”—no longer stick.

Hunter Biden didn’t cite conservative media. He didn’t quote Republican politicians. He spoke from lived reality.

For four years, the Biden administration told Americans not to believe their eyes. This time, the truth came from inside the Biden family itself.
