TEXAS Lt. Governor Tells FOX News Lone Star State Could See 300,000 Coronavirus Cases in Coming Month (VIDEO)

There are currently at least 29 active cases of coronavirus in Texas, America’s second most populous state. On Friday Governor Greg Abbott declared a state of emergency in the state.
Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick told Bill Hemmer tonight that Texas could see 300,000 cases.
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick: It was interesting tonight, earlier on FOX I saw the governor of Ohio talk about their modeling shows about 100,000 cases potentially. And the modeling that I have that I’ve worked with with people, I’m looking at maybe 300,000 cases that would be serious cases. Which would be about three times Ohio. We’re about three times the sise of Ohio with 30 million people. If you extrapolate that out, Bill, if 60% of our 30 million contract the virus, that’s 18 million people. At about 2-3 percent that would be the critical numbers… That’s about where we are.
But, of course, the Lt. Governor has no idea how bad the virus outbreak will be in Texas.
