Death by Toys, founded by toymaker Dan Polydoris, isn’t your typical action figure manufacturer. Instead of pumping out the same design over and over again from a factory assembly line, Dan individually hand-crafts and packages each of his toys through the process of “kitbashing” (the act of repurposing and redesigning action figures).

“I make every item entirely by hand using anything from recycled vintage toys to resin casting to repurposed household items. So, while the finished products may have the feel and look of a factory-produced toy line, each toy is literally made one at a time.”
