I wasn’t alive during the 70s (or the 80s, for that matter). I don’t know what it was like back then, though my parents have given me a pretty good idea of the odd trends that popped up back in the day.

But they never told me that gelatin was HUGE in cookbooks during the mid-70s, and this Twitter user unearthed one of those cookbooks, called Atlanta Natives’ Favorite Recipes. And they are some of the weirdest fucking things I’ve ever read:
