Police Were At Crimo’s Home Twice, One Time to Confiscate 16 Knives, a Dagger, and a Sword — He Was Still Able to Purchase 5 Firearms

Police arrested Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III’, age 22, yesterday following the shooting in Highland Park, Illinois.

Crimo killed seven people, one person died on Tuesday and injured over 30 more individuals at the 4th of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois.

On Tuesday The Gateway Pundit uncovered information indicating Crimo is a radical progressive with ties to Antifa, progressive groups, and the occult.

Looking over information that was collected following the deadly shooting, it is evident the Highland Park 4th of July parade killer, Bobby Crimo, has a very dark background.

An officer reportedly spotted Crimo’s vehicle and chased him to Lake Forest before apprehending him.

Crimo was taken into custody on Monday night.

On Tuesday morning Highland Park police announced that Crimo was wearing women’s clothing during the attack.

The police were at his residence twice once for a suicide attempt and once to remove knives because of a murder threat to his family.

Sgt. Christopher Covelli of the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force told reporters on Tuesday that police had been at his home one time after he was threatening to kill family members.  Police removed 16 knives, a dagger and a sword!

Crimo was able to purchase 5 firearms even after police removed knives and a sword from his home.

Apparently, the red flag laws missed this deranged killer.

USA Today reported:

The rifle recovered from the shooting scene was “similar to an AR-15” using high-velocity rounds and did not appear to be modified, Covelli said.

Crimo had purchased two rifles legally from different locations and in his name in the Chicagoland area, Covelli said. One was found at the scene and a second one was in his car. Other legally purchased firearms were recovered from his residence.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives acted quickly to trace the weapon and determine the details of its sale, said Kimberly Nerheim, a Chicago spokeswoman for the agency.
