BREAKING: Putin Draws Red Line Against NATO Involvement In Ukraine.. Makes Alarming Threat

 

 

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin promised “consequences greater than any you have faced in history” if there is intereference by other countries in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  The US and the UK, along with other NATO countries have delivered weapons to the Ukrainain government to aid them in the defense of their country.  Most NATO countries have imposed crippling sanctions against Putin’s regime.

Some US politicians have floated the idea of a ‘No Fly Zone’, which would result in Russian planes being shot down if they attempted to enter Ukrainian airspace.  Russia would undoubtedly see this as an act of war against its country.  Vladimir Putin said as much today when he said that the US imposing a No Fly Zone would result in ‘catastrophic results to not only Europe, but to the whole world’. 

 

 

 

“We hear calls to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine,” he said.

“It is impossible to do from Ukrainian territory — it can only be done from the territory of other states. But any moves in such direction will be seen by us as participation in an armed conflict by the country that will create threats to our servicemen.”

“Warehouses with weapons and ammunition, aviation, air defense systems — it takes time to destroy air defense systems,” Putin said.

“This work is practically done — that’s why there are demands to impose a no-fly zone. The realization of that demand would bring catastrophic results not only to Europe, but to the whole world.”

Rep. Adam Kinziger (R-Il.) is one of the most prominent politicians pushing for a No Fly Zone in Ukraine.  “The fate of #Ukraine is being decided tonight, but also the fate of the west. Declare a #NoFlyZone over Ukraine at the invitation of their sovereign govt. Disrupt Russias air ops to give the heroic Ukrainians a fair fight. It’s now, or later.”  He said on Twitter.
