Republican Congressman Trolls Biden With “Let’s Go Brandon” Mask On House Floor

Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) appeared on the House floor Monday wearing a “Let’s Go Brandon” mask.

“Let’s Go Brandon” has become a viral anti-President Joe Biden chant following a recent NASCAR race in which an NBC reporter falsely reported fans were cheering on the race victor, Brandon Brown, when in fact they were yelling “F*** Joe Biden.”

“Spotted at House votes: GOP Rep. Jeff Duncan of SC wearing a mask with a phrase that Republicans are using in place of F*** Joe Biden,” POLITICO writer Olivia Beavers tweeted.

Rep Duncan responded to tweets about his “Let’s Go Brandon” mask with a mask emoji.

Jody Gaulin, chairwoman of the Oconee Democratic Party in South Carolina, was enraged with Duncan.

According to Newsweek, Gaulin told The Seneca Journal, “Not only does Jeff Duncan not deliver for the people of the third district—I cannot think of a thing he has truly done—he now sports a vulgar slogan on his mask and walks off the floor!”

“The hypocrisy of the Faith and Freedom BBQ is exposed!” the Democrat raged.

Though the expression “Let’s go Brandon” has gained broad popularity, a White House official recently informed The Washington Post that he had “never heard” of it.

According to The Daily Wire:

The White House is claiming they are unfamiliar with anti-Joe Biden chants, such as the blunt and ever-popular “F*** Joe Biden” chant, and the more recent “Let’s Go Brandon” meme.

“Administration officials sought to downplay the phenomenon, and at least one claimed to be unfamiliar with the ‘Let’s go Brandon’ chant or its cruder cousin, though they are now chanted everywhere from football stadiums to concert arenas to local bars,” The Washington Post reported Saturday.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates claimed, “I had never heard of that chant until you explained it to me.”

Mocking the anti-Biden sentiment as fringe, Bates added, “I guess I’m not spending enough time on 8chan or whatever.”

The anti-Biden sentiment has even been included in popular songs.

For instance, after being banned from YouTube and Instagram, rapper Bryson Gray’s “Let’s Go Brandon” single became the most downloaded on iTunes on Sunday morning, according to PopVortex rankings.

Another song, appropriately titled “Let’s Go Brandon!” by rapper Loza Alexander, has also achieved popularity, debuting at the top of the iTunes hip-hop chart earlier this month. Here are some excerpts from the lyrics:

And I say it wit’ a passion
As I pull off in the Aston
Don’t nobody like his ass, huh?
Tried to cover up, but tell the people, go Brandon
But we know what they sayin’, though
You can hear thе chant in every post
Don’t nobody want this commie ‘causе we not in China
Everybody hated Trump, and now they out to catch a body
That’s what they get for treatin’ us like we in Squid Game
Dream light, mandate like he’s insane
These times, people wakin’ up to e’erything
Go Brandon, but we all know what the sayin’ mean
