MO Senate Candidate Eric Greitens Tells the War Room He WILL NOT Back Mitch McConnell as GOP Senate Leader When Elected

US Senate Candidate Eric Greitens joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Tuesday morning. Greitens announced that once elected to the US Senate he would vote against Sen. Mitch McConnell as GOP Senate Leader.

Governor Greitens is the first prominent GOP Senate candidate of the 2022 cycle to take this leading position.

Governor Greitens told the War Room:

“President Donald J. Trump proved to the Republican Party that the only way to meaningfully advance conservative policy is through strong, uncompromising leadership. That’s why as a Republican running for Missouri’s open U.S. Senate seat, I am committed to finding new leadership in the Senate when Republicans win back the majority in 2022.

We have sadly watched Mitch McConnell morph from a conservative fighter into the power- merchant of D.C., prioritizing special interests and personal influence over America. Now he is actively engaged in working against President Trump and the MAGA movement as we chart our path back to the majority—seemingly unaware why he even has his job in the first place.

As a Navy SEAL and Governor, I recognize that people are sick of the weak, woke RINOs. President Trump had one of the most consequential administrations in the history of the Republic. Now, just imagine what we would have accomplished if we had an America First House and Senate.”

Good for Greitens.
Mitch McConnell did not support President Trump.

He does not support Trump voters.
