Joe Biden's Newly Appointed Chief Of Staff Once Agreed That U.S. Elections Are Rigged

Democrats and their supporters spent the past four years questioning the integrity of the 2016 president election, when then-candidate Donald Trump wiped the floor with the odds-on favorite, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

However, the moment that the mainstream media declared victory for former Vice President Joe Biden over the weekend, suddenly, there’s absolutely no reason, whatsoever, for Republicans to even remotely question the integrity of the 2020 election. Those that have, including top officials in Trump’s camp, have already been written off by the media a “conspiracy theorists” or shouted down for lack of what they consider “proof.”

So we only thought it was fair to point out a six-year-old tweet from Biden’s newly-appointed chief of staff and top adviser, Ron Klain, in which he wholeheartedly agreed that U.S. elections are rigged.

According to Breitbart, Kleain was responding to a tweet from Vox that depicted a graph of a survey that indicated 68 percent of Americans believed — at the time — that elections were “rigged.”

Klain’s response was simple and clear as crystal: “That’s because they are.”

See it for yourself in the tweet below (before he deletes it).

For full context, the Vox piece focused on the practice of gerrymandering, which was believed to give incumbent candidates a clear edge in re-election campaigns.

“A new Rasmussen poll finds that 68 percent of Americans think elections are rigged in favor of incumbents. And they’re basically right,” the accompanying Vox story read.

“The term ‘rigged’ might go a tad far. The problem here isn’t fraud. In elections, like in so much else, the scandal is what’s legal.”

“Incumbents get a voice in gerrymandering — meaning that the politicians, in an inversion of the normal rules of democracy, get to choose their voters,” the Vox piece added, according to Fox News.

Of course, we’re not judging Klain for suggesting that American elections are rigged. Everyone has the right to question election integrity and any reasonable person — party politics aside — should fully agree that in a year marred with an unexpected plague, which forced an unprecedented number of mail-in votes, the possibility exists that things could go wrong.

But as it stands, if someone on television or on the internet even so much as suggests the possibility that the extenuating circumstances of the 2020 election could have led to “rigging” or fraud, they’re immediately either suppressed or outright silenced.

Klain, a longtime Biden adviser and supporter, was selected by the former vice president this week as his right-hand man, should Biden formally be declared the winner of the White House after the election results are certified and the multiple legal battles being waged by Trump’s lawyers are settled.

As of this writing, Klain has yet to address the aged tweet, though at this point he should probably consider doing so, as it seems to be coming back to haunt him and his new boss.
