Donald Trump Jr complains that Twitter and Instagram are 'throttling' his retweets and engagement in bid to cover up 'the truth about the Biden crime family'

Donald Trump Jr is venting his frustration about his declining retweets and likes on social media, accusing Twitter and Instagram of trying to hide 'the truth about the Biden crime family'.

The president’s son complained that engagement on his social media platforms  went down by a third on Twitter and by 20 percent on Instagram.

'Twitter has been throttling my reach and I’m getting 1/3 the amount of RTs I would normally get. Instagram is doing the same & worse for the last few days,' Trump Jr tweeted Sunday night.

'I guess they don’t want the truth about the Biden crime family out there and they will cover for them at all costs,' he added.

He shared a similar video on Instagram joking that he's in 'IG jail' Sunday night saying: 'Hey guys hope you’re doing well. Just watching my algorithm get crushed. I guess I did something to p** off the Instagram gods. Hopefully you’re seeing this stuff anyway. We’ll do what we can. Talk to you soon!'

Trump Jr hinted that the platforms may be trying to silence him as he and his family denounce the Bidens and claim they're criminals.

President Donald Trump has accused Joe Biden of using millions of dollars to help his son avoid trouble in Ukraine by ousting a top Ukrainian prosecutor, even though that theory has been debunked.

Furthering the scandal, the New York Post has published a report that alleges to have proof that Joe Biden was in on his son Hunter's foreign business deals while he was serving as President Barack Obama's vice president.

The emails were allegedly found on a laptop left at a shop with a copy of the hard drive given to Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.

The alleged emails included one that alluded to a meeting between Joe Biden and Vadym Pozharsky an adviser for the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, where Hunter Biden served on the board.

However, the Biden campaign says the meeting did not occur.

President Donald Trump has been waging a battle against social media giants censoring content on their platforms.

Trump has repeatedly denounced Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which allows online platforms to moderate and remove harmful content without being penalized.

Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr, and other right wing figures have seen their posts taken down on Faebook, Twitter and Instagram, when it comes to coronavirus misinformation and misleading messages.

In July Trump Jr was suspended from Twitter for 12 hours for sharing a video showing doctors touting hydroxychloroquine as a COVID-19 treatment. At the time the Food and Drug Administration and other medical experts said the drug had proved in tests to not be effective in battling the virus.

Facebook and Youtube also pulled down the viral video that was also shared by President Donald Trump.

Twitter has repeatedly added warning labels to the president’s tweets for 'spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.'

One of those tweets regarded Trump being cleared by White House doctors to resume working after he was hospitalized for three days following his COVID-19 diagnosis.

'A total and complete sign off from White House Doctors yesterday. That means I can't get it (immune), and can't give it. Very nice to know!!!' Trump had tweeted at the time, prompting Twitter to flag it.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention there is no evidence that people are immune to coronavirus if they have been infected once.
