Don’t look now, but “misgendering” is now an “act of violence,” meaning Leftist punishment for this heinous “crime” is coming next

 The far Left’s ‘gender’ absurdity is continuing, and you can bet that this latest ‘infraction’ will push us further down the road to a time when anyone who insults an LGBTQ individual will face some sort of punitive action.

While coronavirus continues to kill Americans, the Chinese are on the move in Asia, our economy is still suffering, and there is an extremely important presidential election in a few short months. The Daily Beast carved out bandwidth and funding for a ‘story’ in which writer Dawn Ellis lamented the “relentless misgendering of Dr. Rachel Levine,” who is Pennsylvania’s man-like health secretary.

It’s “violence,” Ellis claims, leading us to believe that she’s never experienced real violence.

She writes:

The latest attack is an obvious attempt by a senior legal adviser to President Trump to distract attention away from the epic disaster that is this administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. On Monday, Jenna Ellis, one of the bombastic blowhards who double as frequent Fox News mouthpieces and Trump surrogates, shared a stale story from May. 

Last month, Levine decided it was time to address the onslaught, and in doing so she spoke for every trans person who just wants to do our jobs, to live and to love without having to defend our right to exist as the person we know ourselves to be. She said those slings and arrows aimed at her are actually hurting their neighbors.

“While these individuals may think that they are only expressing their displeasure with me, they are, in fact hurting the thousands of LGBTQ Pennsylvanians who suffer directly from these current demonstrations of harassment,” Levine said. “Your actions perpetuate the spirit of intolerance and discrimination against LGBTQ individuals, and specifically transgender individuals.”

Yeah, okay. 

But see for yourself: Isn’t Ellis right? Levine was born a male.

And this is the problem with ‘self-identification.’ You can ‘identify’ as a cumquat, but that doesn’t make you one. And regardless of what the Left says, there are only two genders on planet Earth: Male and female. People are born one or the other.

Now, you can medically change your sex, but Levine hasn’t done that, obviously. He’s dressed like a woman, wears a wig, and ‘identifies’ as a woman. But that doesn’t make him one, and pointing out the obvious shouldn’t elicit such a dramatic response. 

But alas, it does. From Leftist lunatics. 

“Calling any of us women ‘men’ is an act of violence,” Ellis claimed.

First of all, no it isn’t. Smacking you around, strangling you, blowing you away with a firearm, running you over with a car, throwing you off a cliff…those are all ‘acts of violence.’ And they should never be allowed, condoned, or celebrated, of course.

But calling a man a man is not an act of violence, even if that man ‘identifies’ as a woman. And to suggest otherwise is the epitome of stupid.

“Using a person’s pronouns is a basic level of respect. Despite claims of allyship, Donald Trump, Mike Pence and their staff have gone out of their way to dehumanize and attack transgender and non-binary people simply for existing,” the America-hating Human Rights Campaign wrote in response to Ellis’ tweet. 

“Trump and his allies have refused to acknowledge the epidemic of violence transgender and gender non-conforming people face, attempted to strip away their access to health care, and blocked these patriotic Americans from openly serving in the military,” the campaign continued.

Probably because there isn’t any “epidemic of violence” against ‘transgender’ people. That, like the ‘he’s a she,’ is a complete fabrication and a construct of the Left.

If our society can’t even speak honestly about gender, then we’re never going to be honest enough with each other to solve any of our differences.
