Shocking moment deputy reaches into a woman's car before smashing her window during a traffic stop near a George Floyd protest in Florida

Viral video shows the shocking moment a Florida cop smashed the window of a woman's car after she refused to step out of her vehicle during a traffic stop.
The incident occurred a short distance from a George Floyd protest in Orlando on Wednesday night as the unidentified woman was driving through the area.
In the 30-second clip, recorded by the woman behind the wheel, the deputy stops the woman and tells her she is being detained.
'You're stopping in the middle of the roadway. You're violating a traffic violation, so at this point you're being detained,'  the cop can be heard stating.
'I wasn't doing anything but driving,' the woman replies.

'Step out of the car, or we're going to remove you out of the car. your choice. I'm trying to be nice. I have not been disrespectful, have I?' the officer asks.
The female driver then responds: 'No, but I don't think I've anything to be detained for '.
The woman then attempts to wind up her window, before the policeman reaches in.
'Do not reach into my car! Do not reach into my car! Stop!' the woman begins yelling before the officer shatters her window.
She can be heard screaming before her camera suddenly cuts out.

The video was posted to Twitter, where it has been viewed thousands of times.
The accompanying caption read: 'To preface; the young lady was released shortly after (with cuts on her face), because she had in fact done nothing wrong! '
However, the Orange County Police Department told The Orlando Sentinel that they plan to file a case with the Orange-Osceola State Attorney's Office against the woman for battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting without violence.
They say she was holding up traffic on the roadway with her hazard light's on.

That prompted Democratic Florida Rep Carlos G Smith to tweet: 'An outrageous use of excessive force by an @OrangeCoSheriff against a peaceful young woman, now traumatized. It's even more insulting that 'battery' charges were filed against her. I have spoken w/@SherriffMina and demanded charges be DROPPED. An apology is also needed.
The driver's race has not been disclosed, and is unclear whether she was travelling to the nearby protests or was making her way through the area.
Thousands of people held a peaceful protest in Orlando on Wednesday night, calling for changes to policing practices in response to the death of unarmed black man George Floyd last week.
