Foodbank bans two women after catching them on CCTV filling bags with donated good 'SIX times in one day'

Two women have been barred from a community food back after staff reportedly saw them filling up their carrier bags with donated goods 'six times in one day'.
The pair were captured on CCTV at Newton Deli on Wargrave Road in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside on Saturday afternoon.
The footage shows the women appearing to fill up the bags with canned goods at the Newton Community Fridge – an initiative aimed at helping those in food poverty.
Staff then claimed to see the women return five more times later in the day, filling multiple carrier bags at a time.

The shopkeepers at Newton Deli became suspicious of the duo's activity and have since banned them from the shop.
Manager and owner of Newton Deli, Marc Faulkner, told the Liverpool Echo: 'We have the whole community to cater for and we can't allow a selfish minority to destroy this for everyone who is using it appropriately.

'If this keeps happening we might have to think about restricting access to the public for this service but there are so many people who rely on this service.
'If people keeping abusing it like this it may stop people wanting to donate to us.
'I've put several thousands of pounds of my own money into this initiative and I don't want anyone in the local community to go without. We can't let a few people ruin this.

'It's just very frustrating because we are doing everything we can to help people through these difficult times. This needs to stop now.'
Staff at Newton Deli, who also run the community fridge, say the coronavirus has led to them being inundated with requests from struggling families.
The community fridge is stocked using donations from local supermarkets, residents and the Newton Deli itself.
