Female comedians are taking politics to TikTok amid the coronavirus pandemic - including a drunk Donald Trump and storytime with Boris Johnson.
In a series of TikTok videos sweeping the web, women can be seen offering uncanny lip syncs of different political figures, but all with the same voice - a presidential moan or a condescending prime minister.
Amongst the amusing videos which have gone viral includes Donald Trump being portrayed as an intoxicated clubgoer, and Boris Johnson reading a bedtime story to a moody Theresa May.
'I look at it as taking off the emperor's clothes,' said US-based Sarah Cooper, the US comedian behind a series of Trump videos, speaking to The Guardian.

'I've basically taken away the podium and the suit and the people behind him nodding … That's why it highlights how ridiculous his words are.'
The videos have garnered increasing attention amid the lockdown, with the women responsible encouraging a further boom in innovative political comedy in both the UK and across the pond.
Each has an uncanny similarity - whereby they aim to highlight the limits to our leaders' power and position by mocking them and making them look and sound silly.
Following the announcement that lockdown was set to be renewed in the UK on Sunday, actor and voice artist Meggie Foster shared a new video entitled 'Bedtime with Boris: 'Stay Alert' ft. Theresa,' where she conveyed Boris Johnson reading a bedtime story to Theresa May.

As the amusing clip progressed, it became apparent the book was George Orwell's 1984, before Meggie went on to portray the nation's concerns that they will continue to be at home until the crisis improves.
The post quickly garnered over 10, 000 likes on Twitter, with amused fans taking to the comments section.
'Normally I can't stand Tiktok videos but yours I actually think are too good,' wrote one, while a second enthused: 'I want you to become super successful and rich and just smash it. Your talent deserves it. You're stuff is pure jokes.'
A third added: 'I have been alerted to your brilliance. Thank you.'

Elsewhere, Kylie Scott, 26, from California, racked up over 1.2 million views on her TikTok video of Trump entitled: 'Drunk in the club after Covid.'
The film student was spurred on to join a whole host of female comedians taking politics to social media after hearing Donald Trump's description of coronavirus as a 'germ that has gotten so brilliant … [people] end up dying from problems'.
In the clip, see can be seen lip syncing to Trump's ramblings with alcohol in hand, seemingly part-way through a drunken lecture at a nightclub.
'It's hard to wrap our head around the fact that this is reality: that these aren't things being said by a drunk person in the club, that this is someone leading our country,' she told the publication. 'It also makes it bearable, to be able to laugh about it for a second.'
