Ocasio-Cortez Caught Red Handed In Boldface Hypocritical Lie, She Took Money From Billionaire

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continues to show herself to be no more than a puppet who says and does what she is told.
She is also a massive hypocrite when it comes to rallying against billionaires making donations to political campaigns, The New York Post reported.
It was at a rally last week when the socialist representative derided South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg for taking donations from billionaires, though she did not mention him by name.
She did mention “purity tests,” which Buttigieg said he was against during a Democrat debate where he confronted Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
“So, the mayor just recently had a fundraiser that was held in a wine cave full of crystals and served $900-a-bottle wine,” Warren said at the debate.
“We made the decision many years ago that rich people in smoke-filled rooms would not pick the next president of the United States.
“Billionaires in wine caves should not pick the next president of the United States,” she said to the mayor.

“You know, according to Forbes magazine, I am literally the only person on this stage who is not a millionaire or a billionaire,” Buttigieg said.
“This is the problem with issuing purity tests you cannot yourself pass. If I pledge never to be in the company of a progressive Democratic donor, I couldn’t be up here. Senator, your net worth is 100 times mine,” he said.
The remarks caught the attention of Ocasio-Cortez who, at a rally for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, took a jab at the mayor.
“For anyone who accuses us for instituting purity tests — it’s called having values,” the 30-year-old representative said.
“It’s called giving a damn. It’s called having standards for your conduct to not be funded by billionaires but to be funded by the people,” she said.
“I can tell you as a member of Congress when people say that there is no difference between being funded by a handful of wealthy people and being funded by small grassroots donations,” the representative said.
“Let me tell you something, I go into work all the time and I hear people say ‘what will my donors think’ I hear that phrase. I hear and I see that billionaires get members of Congress on speed dial and waitresses don’t,” she said.
Then we wonder, did she have billionaire Democrat donor and 2020 presidential candidate Tom Steyer on speed dial, or was it a waitress on her phone, when he donated to her campaign.
Steyer, a longtime Democratic donor who has largely funded the majority of his presidential campaign, donated $2,700 to the Queens representative’s campaign on August 29, 2018, his campaign confirmed to The Post.
The donation was made through the former hedge fund manager’s family office, Fahr LLC, prior to his July 2019 announcement that he would seek the Democratic nomination.
“Tom’s proud to support Congresswoman Ocasio Cortez, a champion for working families in the Bronx and all across our country,” a spokesperson for Steyer’s pointless, no chance, campaign said.
“She’s a leader in the fight to make the wealthy pay their fair share, provide a living wage for all workers, and pass a Green New Deal that combats climate change and helps reinvent the American economy.,” they said.
It is astounding how many people want to reinvent the economy after they are rich. It is as if they do not want anyone to get to where they are and compete with them.
But golly, it is swell to see how Steyer and Ocasio-Cortez love each other. Now when will she be writing him a refund check for his donation?
