In case you haven’t heard, Bernie Sanders wants to make college free so nobody will have to pay for it ever, ever again.
Isn’t that great?
It's a disgrace that thousands of Americans don't go to college because they can't afford it, or leave school with crushing debt.
Our message to young people must be: You won't be punished for getting an education. We will make public colleges and universities tuition-free.

Except, as Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw points out, everyone will have to pay for it.
And you’re going to tax the hardworking middle class to do it.
Stop trying to buy off my generation with impossible promises.
And if you do, at least be honest about how to pay for it. The “1%” don’t make enough to pay for your programs.
Eventually you have to tax everyone.

Go to school, kids, to learn about the real world, except when it comes to economics and the cost of services provided.

The sad part is that many young people do actually believe, either by actual or willful ignorance, that socialism means no one has to pay for anything.
Nothing's "free," .@BernieSanders . You're old enough to understand that by now. Shame on you.
