‘Simply staggering’! John Brennan defending Adam Schiff with lecture about ‘moral and ethical standards’ MELTS irony detectors
There’s been plenty of crow served ever since the Mueller investigation released its report and it was made clear there would be no more indictments, and nobody’s had a bigger helping than John Brennan. The former CIA director has spent the last couple years stoking the Resistance flames on MSNBC and other places and making predictions that have gone down in flames. But none of this has made Brennan tone himself down, as evidenced by this defense of Rep. Adam Schiff:
It doesn’t matter if you are a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, or an American of any or of no political affiliation.
We all should hold our elected officials and those who hold the public’s trust to the highest ethical and moral standards, most especially Presidents.

You spent two years going on television every opportunity you could get to push a lie. A lie that has been throughly and utterly debunked. If you had a scintilla of self awareness and reflection, you’d shut your mouth and slink away, forever.
