Appalled businessman has BEST response to sick 'Punish a Muslim Day' fliers as counter-terror cops investigate disgusting hate campaign (3 Pics)

Manzoor has been handing out food packages to the homeless for seven years

A cafe owner is leading the fight against the sick ‘Punish a Muslim Day’ with a day of kindness.
Manzoor Ali, who runs Barakah Foods, in Manchester, is urging people to help turn ‘negative energy into good’ and stand up against hate.
Sick fliers urging people to take part in ‘Punish a Muslim Day’ have sparked a national police probe after being posted through doors across the country, Manchester Evening News reports.
The disgusting propaganda prompted a primary school headteacher to write to parents warning them about the appalling acts of planned violence.
Manzoor, horrified by the leaflets, decided to take action.
His family is planning a ‘Banish Hate Day’ on April 3 and is encouraging people to take the time to be kind.
“Being Mancunian and Muslim, coming across this letter that’s inciting hate and violence against Muslims, it hurt,” dad Manzoor told the M.E.N.
“All I, and other folk, wish to do is help our community. And to think there are people who don’t know us and want to hurt us, it makes no sense.
“How does that fit into our British say of life and values? It doesn’t, and we won’t let small minded individuals pit us against one a other.
“Instead our arms and doors are open to these minds that incite hate, get to know us, the community.
“Join us in our community work and community ethos and use that negative energy to do good.”
Manzoor will be giving out free tea, cake and biscuits to people passing his shop.
The independent food business owner will also be collecting donations for its free food initiative, Barakah Food Aid, and MacMillan Cancer Support.
Manzoor and his wife Aiysha Ali have been handing out food packages to the homeless for the last seven years.

Barakah Foods was born when Manzoor decided to ‘sell a few curries to the community’. Before long it had blossomed into a business.
At the same time, the couple launched Barakah Food Aid, a non-registered initiative delivering food to the needy. It runs on donations alone.
