Furious viewers blast vegan campaigner who claims the dairy industry rapes and 'sexually violates' cows as he comes face-to-face with farmers who have been hit by death threats from his militant followers (5 Pics)

This Morning viewers were in shock after a vegan accused a dairy farmer of 'raping' cows.
Jonny Crickmore is a dairy farmer who received death threats from activists after posting a picture of his cow who had rare triplets on social media.
He appeared on the ITV show alongside vegan campaigner Joey Carbstrong - who is on a mission to convert meat eaters to veganism.
But things quickly turned sour when Carbstrong accused the farmer of 'rape'.
"The dairy industry are responsible for separating families, when these calves are born they are taken away from their mother, that milk will be given to human beings," he began.
"Now those calves if they're born a boy they'll be bolt-gunned in the head sometimes on their first day of life and the female calves will suffer the same fate as their mother which is forcible impregnation, they're not getting pregnant naturally, forcefully, a fist into the cow's anus, they harvest the semen from a bull and we all know how they do that and then they inject that semen into the cow," he continued.
"When she's pregnant they take her calf away from her and this is why vegans might call it kidnap and when she can't produce milk anymore, she's murdered for her body, a mother."
"And so the rape is the insemination?" Phillip asked to clarify.
"Well, it's forcible impregnation isn't it? If it was a human being what would we call it?" Carbstrong countered.
"But it's not a human being, it's a cow," Phil said.
"It's sexual abuse," Jonny insisted.
"If we are sexually violating a sentient being against their will, that is not moral."
But the farmer wasn't happy with the vegan's description of what happens on a farm.
"I find that really offensive," he admitted.
"The word rapist, to use that word for inseminating a cow, I feel is wrong."
He explained that dairy farmers inseminate cows to make farms safer.
"I think what you need to understand being a dairy farmer is there's a few reasons why we inseminate cows first of all the danger to human beings imagine if you have a lot of bulls on your farm it can be very dangerous," he said.
"The second reason is the semen that we choose to buy to impregnate the cow leaves smaller calves so the cow has an easy calving.
"The third reason is the bull we use leaves calves that are stronger so they can have a longer and better life."
The vegan fired back: "So you think that being called a rapist is immoral but the act of sticking your hand inside a cow without their consent isn't immoral?"
And many viewers sided with the farmer in the debate.
"This vegan bloke on This Morning is an absolute d***. Imagine comparing dairy farmers to rapists. F***ing lunatic," one viewer tweeted.
"If you want to be vegan, absolutely fine. If you don’t want to be, again, absolutely fine. Leave people alone for god sake," another added.
"Why can’t vegans put their point across without being so preachy and being so forceful with their opinions upon meat eaters?" another asked.
"Eating plants makes people really aggressive," another viewer joked.
Meanwhile others agreed with his views.
Wow, this guy is so passionate and I have a huge amount of respect for him. I’m not a vegan, but love all animals and struggle with this. Very much considering going vegan. Well done to this morning for talking about something so relevant," one viewer wrote.
