Syrian Dictator Bashar Al-Assad: ‘No Evidence That Six Million Jews Were Killed’ In Holocaust

Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad falsely claimed during a speech this week that there was no evidence that six million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust.

Al-Assad, who is responsible for killing hundreds of thousands of his own citizens and whose regime is strongly linked to drug trafficking, falsely claimed that the U.S. was responsible for the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany between World War I and World War II.

“There is no evidence that six million Jews were killed [in the Holocaust],” he falsely claimed. “True, there were concentration camps, but what shows you that this is a politicized issue, and is not a humanitarian issue, and is not real, how come we talk about these six million, and not the 26 million Soviets who were killed in that war? Are those six millions more precious? The same acts were everywhere.”

He falsely claimed that there was “no method of torture or killing specific to the Jews,” when, in fact, Jews were forced into death camps where they were systematically murdered on an industrial scale.

“However, this issue was politicized, in order to falsify the truth, and later to prepare for the transfer of the Jews from Europe to other areas, or [rather] to Palestine,” he falsely claimed.

He also falsely claimed that the Jews who returned to Israel after it was established as a nation in 1948 had no connection to the ancient people of Israel.
