DISGUSTING: Chaplains Ordered To Interrogate US Coast Guardsmen Over Religious Exemption Requests From COVID Jab...Challenge Members With “Visible tattoos”

Religion has been under attack in America by the Left for decades. In 2020, the Chinese Communist Party, gave anti-faith Democrats an incredible gift. The CCP virus (or COVID pandemic) essentially gave Democrats the ability to do something no one ever would have imagined was possible only two years ago—it gave them the ability to shut down houses of worship and punish Americans who dared to enter a church or synagogue during COVID lockdown.

In March 2020, Deirdre Hairston, a Catholic mother of a one-year-old, was pregnant with another child when she was removed from her church by three armed police officers. She was also and threatened with arrest by the officers for the crime of receiving communion without wearing a mask.

Hairston said her parish-priest, Father Ryan called the police.

Once outside, Hairston said the usher ran to her car and took photos of her license plate while police took her information.

She also said she was issued a ticket for trespassing.

In April 2020, Reverend Tony Spell, a brave pastor in Central Louisiana took a stand against the anti-faith tyrants in our government who were taking away his right to preach in his church. For his crime of continuing to preach, the pastor was placed under house arrest and forced to wear an ankle bracelet.

“I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ—I’m not ashamed of the stance that I’ve taken,” the pastor told Central News during his live video as he sat at his piano, waiting to have his GPS ankle bracelet fitted. “The stand I have taken is not for me—it has nothing to do with me—it’s for our religious freedoms.” Pastor Spell spoke about the religious freedoms we enjoy in the United States, adding that this is “an honor for me to go under house arrest” to defend our First Amendment Right to religious freedom.

The Facebook video below shows Pastor Spell of the Life Tabernacle Church singing at his piano in his home while wearing an ankle bracelet:

This isn’t just an “America problem,” the attempts by the Left to strip individuals of their right to freely practice their faith is an international problem. Curisously, COVID is being used as an excuse to enact draconian restrictions and impose harsh penalties on church leaders who disobey, including, but not limited to time in prison.

In May 2021, a pastor was taken down by a heavily armed SWAT team for continuing to preach in his church in Canada.

Now, Just The News is reporting that the U.S. Coast Guard has developed an accusatory script for chaplains to use when quizzing service members on their requests for religious exemptions from vaccines.

For example, the script directs chaplains to challenge service members with “visible tattoos” if they cite 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, which tells Christians to keep their bodies pure as “temples of the Holy Spirit.”

Chaplains must grill service members who object to vaccines developed with aborted fetal cells on whether they also abstain from “Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, or Claritin, all of which were developed using fetal cells. … Note response in memo.”

Another document includes a list of quotes by religious leaders in several faiths promoting COVID vaccination. The First Liberty Institute told Just the News it obtained them from a service member who said they were distributed to chaplains by judge advocate generals.

“We know with certainty that chaplains received” the script, which is marked “draft,” putting them “in the untenable and unconstitutional position of deciding which religious beliefs are legitimate and which ones are not,” Mike Berry, general counsel for the public interest law firm, told Just the News.

Lt. Cdr. Brittany Panetta declined to comment on the authenticity of the documents, or whether the script was approved, except to say the Coast Guard “adjudicates requests for religious accommodations on a case-by-case basis,” providing an Aug. 31 directive.

“This adjudication is informed by input from the member’s command, medical, judge advocate, and military chaplain, in accordance with relevant Coast Guard policy, which is itself informed by law, including the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and the U.S. Constitution,” she said.

Harvard Law School professor Noah Feldman argued such intrusive questions violate the Founders’ individual conscience framework that led to the First Amendment.

“People who decide first that they don’t want to be vaccinated, and then search online for religious authorities who might back them up … are doing what many before them have done — and exactly what religious liberty is supposed to protect,” he said in a Bloomberg column.

Given the infiltration of woke military leaders, this recent development shouldn’t really come as a surprise. The same military leaders who are forcing men of God to question the sincerity of religious beliefs held by fellow Christians, would never question the motives of a person serving in our military who wanted to marry a goat.
