Cuomo moves to the burbs! Homeless NY Gov. is moving into his sister's Westchester home after sex pest allegations torched his political career

Moving trucks that were spotted outside New York's Executive Mansion three days before disgraced governor Andrew Cuomo has to move out of the Albany residence, have been seen dropping off their belongings at his sister's house in Westchester.

Cuomo has until August 24 to move out of the property after resigning as governor earlier this month following a bombshell report by the state's Attorney General which accused him of sexually harassing multiple women.

His sister's house, in the town of Purchase, is owned by by Maria Cole and her fashion designer husband, Kenneth Cole.

It's only a short distance from the home he had once lived at with his ex-longtime girlfriend Sandra Lee. The pair broke up in 2019 and it was at that point Cuomo moved into the Governor's Mansion, a 165-year-old residence.

A U-Haul arrived at the property first thing this morning from the back of the house. The driver then pulled the truck around the side of the house so that it was barely visible from the street.

Cuomo was nowhere in sight as two more pickup trucks pulled up and at least six workers were seen unloading dollies and carts from the trucks before heading inside.

His senior advisor Rich Azzopardi also kept a low profile as he loaded things into his own car from the back office by the pool.

The trucks left Albany at around 11:30am, arriving in Purchase at 2:15pm.

Although it is not yet clear where Cuomo will be living once he moves out of the mansion next week, it is clear that his sister will be storing at least some of his things, for now.

Those delivering the boxes to Cole's home told the New York Post they had no idea who they were working for with one saying they were simply told to 'drive to the Tappan Zee' bridge before being given an address shortly before arriving.

The Cole's home, said to be worth close to $3 million, is equipped with all manner of amenities including a pool and a backyard with a barn and guest house.

The governor appears to be the last of the Cuomos to pack up and move out. Earlier this month two of Cuomo's three daughters - Michaela, 23, and Cara, 26 - were spotted moving their things out of the Executive Mansion.

With just days until his resignation comes into effect it's still a mystery where Cuomo will move once the clock strikes midnight on Monday.

One of Cuomo's rumored landing spots is at his brother Chris Cuomo's $2.9million home in the Hamptons, where the CNN anchor famously quarantined in his basement during the early stretch of the pandemic.

Another possible destination would be with his 89-year-old mother, who owns a co-op in Manhattan on Sutton Place South, which she and her late husband purchased for $595,000 in 1995.

Cuomo's sister, Maria Cuomo-Cole along with her husband and fashion designer Kenneth Cole, have a number of holdings as well, with homes in Westchester County and Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, the Post also reported.

And in 2002, economist Jeffery Sachs, reportedly let Cuomo stay at Financial District rental at 1 West Street after his divorce from Kerry Kennedy.

Cuomo moved into the Executive Mansion in 2019, where he has lived rent-free for less than two years.

Cuomo's last private residence was a four-bedroom, 4,129-square-foot colonial in Mount Kisco, Westchester County, which he shared with longtime girlfriend Sandra Lee from 2008 until they split up in 2019.

But the property, called Lily Pond, was in her name and she sold it December 23, 2020, for $1.85 million.

Ahead of his next move Cuomo filed for retirement with the state of New York to receive a $50,000 annual lifetime pension merely one week before he steps down over sexual harassment allegations.

The 63-year-old governor has accumulated 15 years of state service thanks to his 11 years as governor and four years as attorney general.

He can progressively receive more than $1 million in pension benefits if he lives another 20 years - plenty of his own cash to find a home.

Neither resignation or impeachment for alleged misconduct bars eligibility from obtaining a pension for state service.

But Cuomo's sex scandal could prevent him from being paid the $2million advance he has yet to receive from his Covid memoir.

It's still unclear whether the book's publisher, Crown, will pay the remaining advance fees.

Cuomo's fall from pandemic hero to alleged sex pest officially began in late 2020 when Lindsay Boylan accused him of sexual harassment on Twitter, claiming the governor had persistently gone after she.

She alleged he once asked her to play 'strip poker' with him during a flight on a taxpayer-funded jet and later gave her an unwanted kiss in his Manhattan office.

But the accusations were pushed to the side as Cuomo's team worked to discredit her, according to State Attorney General Letitia James's report into Cuomo's alleged sexual harassment.

The next hit to Cuomo's reputation was one he could not sweep under the rug so easily.

The State Attorney General's office published a report in January revealing that Cuomo's policy to force Covid-19 positive patients into nursing homes due to lack of hospital beds 'may have put residents at increased risk of harm in some facilities'.

The following month, the Associated Press reported that Cuomo's administration undercounted the loss of life at New York's nursing homes due to Covid by 50 per cent. Despite that, Cuomo contends he made the right call and his decision saved more lives than it cost by freeing up desperately needed hospital beds.

A top aide to the governor, Melissa DeRosa, tried to explain the administration's delays in releasing data on deaths by saying officials 'froze' over worries the information was 'going to be used against us' by Trump's Justice Department.

Cuomo and his administration are still being investigated by federal prosecutors and the FBI over this issue.

In February Charlotte Bennett, a former aide, came forward and revealed that Cuomo had asked her to have a sexual relationship with him.

Later, Anna Ruch, a third accuser, told her story of Cuomo forcing a kiss on her when she was attending the wedding of a friend. She claimed that when she refused his advance, the governor allegedly called her 'aggressive,' and used both his hands to force a kiss on her.

The report, which was published on August 3, revealed that Cuomo had sexually harassed a total of 11 women.

Cuomo maintains his innocence and an investigation is ongoing.
