Pennsylvania Poised for Arizona-Style Ballot Audit – State Committee Chairman Considers Subpoenas for Ballot Audit

In early June Pennsylvania State Senator Dave Argall came out in support of a full forensic audit in the state of Pennsylvania.

The following update came from State Senator Doug Mastriano’s staff after his visit to inspect the Maricopa County audit in Phoenix, Arizona:

Senator Dave Argall: “I support the call for an election audit, in order to answer any lingering questions that still remain about the fairness of the 2020 elections in Pennsylvania. This is the best path forward to address the legitimate concerns of the large majority of my constituents who voted to re-elect President Trump as well as all Pennsylvanians. This is just one of many election reform efforts I would like to see approved here in the next few weeks.”

State Senator Doug Mastriano is leading the charge for election integrity in Pennsylvania. He was part of the Pennsylvania delegation that came to Arizona to tour the audit center this past week.

Jordan Conradson spoke with Doug Mastriano on Wednesday, where he said, “We’ve got a lot of issues in Pennsylvania. We need to do an audit and…this is the model”.

Now, Senator Argall, who heads the committee that oversees elections in Pennsylvania, told The Capitol-Star earlier this week he favors an Arizona-style audit.

The Washington Examiner reported:

Pennsylvania appears to be on the precipice of initiating an Arizona-style audit of the 2020 election.

State Sen. David Argall, who heads a committee that oversees elections, told local news outlets he favors a forensic audit of the contest that state and federal officials insist was secure.

The Republican, under pressure by former President Donald Trump to take action, told the Capital-Star the audit is now a “very real possibility.” The report said he is considering subpoenas for ballot information and which jurisdictions to send them.

“There are a lot of things under consideration right now, and I told them to check back in a week or two, and we hope to have some more detail,” he told the outlet after meeting with audit-supporting activists on Thursday…

…Three Pennsylvania lawmakers, including Trump ally, state Sen. Doug Mastriano, R-Franklin, visited the audit site in Phoenix earlier this month to garner support for a similar audit in Pennsylvania.
