There goes the 'publicity-shy' Prince again! Twitter users accuse Harry of being a 'one-trick pony' whose 'ONLY means of getting interest is by 'b*tching about his family'

Social media users have slammed Prince Harry for being a 'one-trick pony' after his latest bashing of the Royal Family.

Twitter accounts from across the world weighed in on the Duke of Sussex's claims during his second explosive sit down with Oprah Winfrey.

Some asked why the 'publicity-shy Prince' is so desperate to air his dirty laundry on camera while others said he cannot help but 'b*tch about his family'.

Harry accused the royal family of 'total neglect' in his mental health documentary series with Oprah and said he will not be bullied.

In 'The Me You Can't See' he addressed traumatic memories from his childhood, such as the death of his mother Diana, and harassment on social media.

The Duke also told Oprah his family did not speak about Diana's death and expected him to just deal with the resulting press attention and mental distress.

But social media users were sceptical of the 'one-trick Prince' whose 'only means of getting interest is by 'b*tching about his family'.

Tom Lewis said: 'Anybody else getting the impression that #PrinceHarry is turning into a one-trick pony.

'B*tching about his treatment by the Royal Family being his only means of attracting interest, earning a living and supporting his family? #passthesickbucket.'

Christine Myers wrote: As a royalist I wish that Prince Harry would stop acting like a whiny brat. Neglect; utter rubbish!!!

'You are NO longer part of our royal family. You made your bed now lie in it. We as Brits have ZERO interest in anything you have to say.'

One account put: 'Prince Harry reminds me of that kid that is constantly complaining about his parents and decides to move out of their home.

'Upon moving out then constantly complains about the reason why he moved out is because his family doesn't care.'

A man called Dougie posted: 'There is publicity shy Prince Harry who wants to stay out of limelight doing another PR interview.'

Mick said: 'No parent is perfect. Far from it. But to publicly deride them is disloyalty beyond belief. Harry is clearly a narcissist who's met his perfect match in Meghan.'

In candid interviews with Oprah Winfrey on his new show, The Me You Can¿t See, he said: 'I thought my family would help, but every single ask, request, warning, whatever, it is just got met with total silence, total neglect

In the documentary, Prince Harry spokes about his alleged attempts to get assistance from his family with the attacks levelled at the Sussexes online.

He said: 'Every single ask, request, warning, whatever it is, to stop just got met with total silence or total neglect.

'We spent four years trying to make it work. We did everything that we possibly could to stay there and carry on doing the role and doing the job.'

The Duke also told Oprah his family did not speak about Diana's death and expected him to just deal with the resulting press attention and mental distress.

But social media users remained unimpressed by the Prince, whose popularity with the British public has plummeted in recent months.

Haleema put: 'ERGH what is it with Prince Harry? He just feels the need to have his face plastered all over the rags and then has the nerve to claim he wants a ''private life''.'

A woman from London wrote: 'It's a shame Prince Harry doesn't yet have the insight to recognise he's repeating and reinforcing the painful patterns of the past by marrying Meghan Markle It will become clear to him in time.'

Jen said: 'Turns out Prince Harry is one narssistic and self centered little boy who only want to expose his privacy if he got paid for it how sad.'

Steve Clark from Great Yarmouth said: 'What a hypocrite..Claims he wants to keep out of the spotlight, even moved to another country!

'I've seen more of him and heard more from him than evr before. I'm losing all respect for him.'

One account put on Twitter: 'The real #PrinceHarry is finally showing himself. He's a selfish, arrogant and entitled man child.'

Harry said his family tried to prevent him and Meghan from leaving when she was having suicidal thoughts, insisting they were 'neglected' and 'trapped' but have no regrets about quitting for LA

The series comes after Harry earlier in May appeared to suggest his father, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh had failed as parents.

Speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast, the duke said he wanted to 'break the cycle' of 'genetic pain and suffering' for the sake of his own children.

He said of Prince Charles: 'He's treated me the way he was treated, so how can I change that for my own kids?'

He picked up the theme with Oprah, telling her in the series released on Friday: 'My father used to say to me when I was younger, he used to say to both William and I, 'Well it was like that for me so it's going to be like that for you.''

'That doesn't make sense. Just because you suffered doesn't mean that your kids have to suffer, in fact quite the opposite - if you suffered, do everything you can to make sure that whatever negative experiences you had, that you can make it right for your kids,' he said.

The now 36-year-old said his family told him to 'play the game' and life would improve. But he objected, telling Winfrey: 'I've got a hell of a lot of my mum in me.

'The only way to free yourself and break out is to tell the truth.' Harry told Winfrey he would 'never be bullied into silence' in the future.

He said he did not go to his family when Meghan felt suicidal because he was ashamed the situation had got 'that bad' and also suspected the royals would not have been able to help.

The duke said: 'That was one of the biggest reasons to leave, feeling trapped and feeling controlled through fear, both by the media and by the system itself which never encouraged the talking about this kind of trauma.

'Certainly now I will never be bullied into silence.'

Yet social media users continued to vent fury at the Prince, and questioned whether his relationship with Oprah was what it seems.

A woman called Anne asked: 'Just throwing this out there. Anyone else see a sad similarity between what Bashir did with Princess Dianna, and what Oprah and her pals are doing with Prince Harry?'

Grant from Australia wrote: 'I know what Prince Harry needs. His big brother to drop him like a school bag and tell him to shut up.'

Nicholas wrote: 'I understand Harry but he wont feel better before he starts forgiving people. All this anger he has... therapy is also about forgiving, not only expressing how angry you are #PrinceHarry.'

David Barfoot put: 'Is there anyone out there? not, fed up hearing about Prince Harry & The Other Half.

Ann put: 'Unfortunately Prince Harry doesn't see that. Everything had does, as far as I can see anyway, is just a vehicle to get all how he feels out, not for any one else. If that makes sense.'

NHS Health Care Assistant Scott Owen said: 'Two very different royal stories running at the moment - one Prince defending his mother being deceived and the other Prince attacking his family and upbringing.'

However there were some on social media who felt the Prince had done right in the sit down.

One put: '#TheMeYouCantSee is a gift we all deserve... Thank you #PrinceHarry and #Oprah and all the people who are sharing their experiences.'

A girl called Ella said: 'Prince Harry has taken to talk about how he feels. You shouldn't ridicule those who feel brave enough to speak about their experiences, it's dehumanising.'

Adam Fare wrote online: 'We tell people, especially men, to speak out about their struggles.

'Prince Harry has spoken about how his trauma turned him to drink and drugs, such a brave thing to do. He doesn't deserve any abuse for that, but huge admiration.'

And another added: 'Prince Harry is not holding anything back. A true fearless soldier for justice and we are right there behind him every step of the way!'

Lady Gaga and actress Glenn Close also featured in the documentaries, with Gaga discussing her serious mental health struggles after she was raped as a teenager.

The documentary series focuses on mental illness and mental wellness and aims to inspire viewers to have an honest conversation about the challenges people face.

Hours before it aired, Harry joined his brother William in criticising the BBC following an inquiry which found the broadcaster covered up 'deceitful behaviour' used by journalist Martin Bashir to secure his headline-making 1995 interview with their mother.
