New York State Police Sgt. Jason Cawley responded to the scene after being told someone had called 911 multiple times because they had been run off the road and needed help.

Cawley, who is stationed in nearby Sidney, New York, drove to Owego and started searching for a stranded driver who told 911 dispatchers the approximate location of where he ran into trouble, according to the State Police.

Cawley saw what looked like a row of mailboxes and waded through the snow to check the addresses.

As he started digging through the snow, he came upon the windshield of a car.

He found a freezing Kresen inside the vehicle.

Kresen told the state trooper that a snow plow had covered his vehicle and he'd been stuck for 10 hours.

To make matters worse, the car’s serpentine belt was broken, which meant that he had no heat.

Cawley managed to pry Kresen out of the car and arranged for him to be transported to Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton for treatment.

Kresen has an account on the social media app TikTok. He is often seen giving his views on politics and the state of the country.
