Trump supporter, 61, is charged with assault for BLOWING on protester who told him to 'back off' during demonstration outside the president's Virginia golf club
A man seen blowing and coughing on two women outside President Donald Trump's Virginia golf course has been charged with assault.
Raymond Deskins, 61, was charged with misdemeanor assault after a private citizen obtained a warrant through a county magistrate, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said Sunday. Deskin did not immediately return a request for comment.
Video, shared on social media, shows Deskins blowing air on two women, one of whom was identified as Kathy Beynette.
One of them had asked Deskins to move away and point out that he was not wearing a mask.
A woman can be heard telling him, 'You're in my face and you don't have a mask, so you need to back off.' The man then deliberately takes a deep breath and blows.

'That's assault' one of the women said afterwards.
'I breathed on you,' Deskins replied.
Virginia mandates masks be worn in certain locations to stop the spread of the coronavirus, but they are not required to be worn outside.
The altercation happened Saturday outside Trump National Golf Club, where the president was playing.
Protestors and supporters regularly gather outside the club's entrance when he plays.
Deskin was wearing a Trump shirt and an inflatable pool tube with Trump's likeness on it around his waist.
Kathy Beynette told News4 that she and another woman were protesting President Trump outside the club on Saturday.
Across the street, a group of Trump supporters were counter protesting.
'Then, quite out of nowhere, the guy came over from across the street, came charging across the street.

Deskins was part of a group of supporters who had gathered outside the golf club to cheer the president on as he arrived for his weekend game of golf

Several members of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors sent a letter to law enforcement authorities Sunday asking for a full investigation.
The letter said the two women had been protesting the president outside the golf club.
'We're both senior citizens both close to 70 years old, which puts us in a high-risk category,' Beynette said.
'Because of this guy, my family has had to cancel the small Thanksgiving that we had planned with just a few people because I said I might've been exposed.'

Phyllis Randall, chair at-large of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, wants a full police investigation into the incident:
'I request that a full investigation be completed to ascertain if the man seen coughing in the video has violated any laws, and if so are charges applicable,' Randall said in a letter Sunday to Loudoun Co. Sheriff Mike Chapman.
'I further request, because our constituents will reach out to me and my colleagues on the Board of Supervisors for information on this matter, you provide the Supervisors with updated information.'
The sheriff's office said the altercation was investigated at the scene but was not witnessed by law enforcement and the video did not capture its entirety.
