President Trump Shows Pure Class After Joe Biden Suffers a Serious Injury, Tweets Supportive Message

President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are, by any measure, extreme political enemies and opponents, with Trump still accusing the Democrat machine of rigging the 2020 election in Biden’s favor.

But that didn’t stop the president from showing some serious class after a weekend incident in which the 78-year-old Biden suffered a serious foot injury while playing with his two large German Shepards.

According to The New York Post, after the news hit the wires that Biden was being sent to the hospital for treatment of his injury, Trump tweeted a video news report of the situation and added, “Get well soon!” to the tweet.

Initial reports of Biden’s injuries indicated that it was a common ankle sprain and said that no serious injuries, including fractures, were present.

“On Saturday Nov. 28, President-elect Biden slipped while playing with his dog Major, and twisted his ankle,” Biden’s office said in a statement. “Out of an abundance of caution, he will be examined this afternoon by an orthopedist.”

A local newspaper indicated that “Reporters covering the president-elect were not afforded the opportunity to see Biden enter the doctor’s office, despite multiple requests.” Of course, that immediately sparked a number of conspiracy theories on social media, with some even claiming that Biden was being fitted for an ankle monitor.

However, later reports confirmed that after Biden was examined by an orthopedic specialist, it was revealed that the injury was much more serious than originally thought.

According to Biden’s doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the media-declared president-elect suffered a “hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot.”

“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging,” O’Connor added in his statement while revealing that Biden will be seen for the next several weeks wearing a specialized boot that will allow his foot to properly heal.

Biden, if he manages to take the White House come January 20, will be the oldest president to do so in American history. Many have expressed concern not only about Biden’s mental acuity, but his long history of medical issues.

Spanning the course of his political career, Biden has suffered a laundry list of medical conditions, including brain aneurysms, non-valvular atrial fibrillation (AFib), high cholesterol, acid reflux, allergies, deep vein thrombosis, and a pulmonary embolism.

Even with that kind of medical history, Biden’s doctors have repeatedly signed off on his ability to hold the office of the presidency, though many still believe he’s far too old and sick to be in such a position, which raises concerns about Sen. Kamala Harris literally being a heartbeat away from sitting in the Oval Office.

All of that aside, it was definitely refreshing to see Trump take the high road and offer his archenemy a “get well soon” message. It’s hard to say if Biden would have done the same.
