Alec Baldwin says 'bury Trump in a Nazi graveyard and put a swastika on his grave' before calling the president a 'maniac' in scathing Twitter rant

Alec Baldwin on Sunday called for Donald Trump to be 'buried in a Nazi graveyard' with 'a swastika on his grave' in a scathing Twitter rant.

The actor, 62, who plays the president on Saturday Night Live, tweeted: 'Bury Trump in a Nazi graveyard and put a swastika on his grave.'

He added: 'The majority of Americans made the right choice. Trump is a maniac.'

Baldwin has previously compared the president to Hitler and in February told the public to wake up before the president's 'fascist thinking' becomes the new normal.

Trump is still refusing to concede the election. On Monday he continued to tweet that he had 'won the election'.

Multiple major news outlets including the Associated Press, CNN and Fox News called the presidential contest for former Vice President Joe Biden on November 7.

Trump has insisted that Democrats stole the election from him as his campaign mounts tenuous legal battles in several key states that he lost.

Baldwin has been an outspoken critic of Trump throughout his presidency.

In April he tweeted: 'Trump has reached for, and nearly gained, a control of the federal govt unrivaled by other Presidents. He fired huge numbers of govt professionals. He steamrolled the Congress, whenever possible. And now this. If you vote for Trump again, you are mentally ill'

Earlier this month Baldwin joked he would be glad to lose his SNL role playing Trump, pictured, tweeting: 'I don’t believe I’ve ever been this overjoyed to lose a job before!'

In February Baldwin tweeted: 'It’s official. The United States government is as lawless as the malignant dictatorships we’ve hated in our foreign policy since WWII.'

'Remember that fascistic thinking takes hold when a standard of living is threatened consistently. People think that things are changing, and downward for most Americans. And that this will become the new normal. They are wholly directed by $,' he added.

'You wonder how Hitler took control of a once great country. For those of you too young to recall the War or its aftermath, simply watch how this GOP-controlled Senate behaves,' he said.

'Their sniveling fealty and lack of courage. And you begin to get it,' he added.

And in January Baldwin blasted Trump supports for what he described as the ‘colossal destruction of everything that matters’ in the USA in a lengthy Twitter rant.

'The desecration of those ideals and the near moral collapse of this country falls squarely in the lap of Trump’s supporters... as opposed to Trump himself, who is merely what psychology labels the "objective negative function,"' he said.

'Like fire, floods and earthquakes, it destroys, and only destroys, by its very nature. Without prejudice. It is Trump voters, particularly those who would re-elect him who bear the blame. For the undeniable and colossal destruction of everything that matters to us as Americans that cannot be merely monetized,' he continued.
