The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), also known as the Capitol Hill Organized protest (CHOP) has spiralled towards anarchy after demonstrators denied police entry to the ring.
A double shooting on Saturday left one 19-year-old dead and another critically injured as the anti-police occupation entered its second week in downtown Seattle.
A 911 caller told police a man got out of a black SUV carrying a rifle before gunfire erupted.
The shooter or shooters fled the area and are still at large, and police said they had no description of the suspect for the public at this time.
Seattle Police Department said its officers 'were met by a violent crowd that prevented officers safe access to the victims' on Saturday.
The police stations inside the autonomous zone has been abandoned and Donald Trump has slammed Jenny Durkan for allowing it to exist.
