Not that kind of bird! Ivanka Trump is roasted on Twitter after suggesting bored Americans could spend their Saturday night making shadow animal puppets - only to have people send her the middle finger (16 Pics)

Ivanka Trump was promptly roasted on Twitter after she suggested bored Americans could spend their Saturday night making shadow animal puppets.
The first daughter tweeted out: 'Looking for a Saturday night activity? Try making shadow puppets from Henry Bursill's recently unearthed 1860's book of engraving...'
Her idea quickly backfired when people responded to her tweet with their own shadow puppets – not shaped as an animal but a middle finger.
Another took the opportunity to poke fun at her father President Donald Trump, replying with an image of Trump as a dummy sitting on the lap of a ventriloquist Vladimir Putin, commenting: 'Speaking of puppets.'

Ivanka has already come under fire this month for not heeding her own advice to stay at home during the coronavirus pandemic, instead making a trip with her husband Jared Kushner and three children to their 'second home' at her father's Bedminster, New Jersey golf club for Passover.

Twitter users did not hold back while mocking Ivanka's Saturday night activity suggestion.
A few dozen people quickly replied with images of their middle fingers raised, with one saying: 'Oh look! I made a shadow puppet of a unicorn!'
User Andrew Wortman replied with a photo-shopped image of Ivanka hawking 'designer body bags', saying: 'You are an insufferable vapid pit of nepotism and inhumanity.'
Another snarked: 'The best part is that you didn't even include a link to where it is you can find this totally obscure book from 1860.'
'Vampires don't cast shadows,' someone else said.
Others said she was clueless and mocked her for being a 'troll.'
Another wrote: 'This is my third cousin's Saturday night activities. He is busy telling families their loved ones didn't make it through your dad's pandemic.'
One added: 'Shadow puppets? Like Jared, Bannon, Miller, Barr??'
Another said: 'I thought your idea of a Saturday night activity was sipping wine at Bedminster while your dad goads the incels to bring guns and gather en masse to threaten democratically elected governors during the worst pandemic in 100 years.'
Ivanka came under fire last weekend after it was revealed she had seemingly ignored her own advice to 'please, please' stay at home.
In a clip posted on her Twitter and Instagram accounts on March 30, Ivanka pleaded with followers to stay put, saying: 'Those lucky enough to be in a position to stay at home, please, please do so. Each and every one of us plays a role in slowing the spread.'
But a little more than a week later, Ivanka traveled with her family 200 miles from the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington D.C. to the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey, for the first day of Passover on April 8.
Ivanka's team offered an explanation that since the Bedminster golf club is currently closed it is therefore more socially distant than her mansion in D.C.
A White House official told NBC News: 'Ivanka - with her immediate family - celebrated Passover at a closed down facility considered to be a family home.
'Her travel was no different than had she been traveling to/from work and the location was less populated than the surrounding area near her home in D.C.
'While at Bedminster she has been practicing social distancing and working remotely. Her travel was not commercial.
'She chose to spend a holiday in private with her family.'
It is still unclear how she traveled. She and Kushner both receive Secret Service protection so she could have been driven there by agents, a road journey of just under four hours.
She may also have flown either by commercial flight from Washington D.C. to Newark, or by government plane.
Any journey would have therefore involved her Secret Service detail, possibly breaking social distancing unnecessarily.
It is also unclear when she traveled; she was last seen on April 7 at the White House, while her husband was seen leaving their Kalorama home on April 8 - the day Passover began - apparently to go to work.
He was seen again in Washington D.C. on Tuesday 14, suggesting that he traveled back separately, again with Secret Service protection.
Since the start of this month, Ivanka also posted another video in which she said the White House was 'deeply committed' to small businesses and that the administration was 'fighting for you' through the Paycheck Protection Program, which was launched signed into law at the end of March.
