Rep Ilhan Omar Comes Out Against President Trump After He Kills Iranian General Who Killed Hundreds of Americans

Raise your hand if you would be surprised to learn that Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has taken the side of Iran over the United States as a potential war looms?

Ok hands down, because that is exactly what she did on Thursday after President Donald Trump ordered a strike that killed top Iranian military leader Gen. Qassim Soleimani.

Not only did she take the side of Iran, she vowed to stop President Trump, not the Iranian regime, from escalating things further.

“So what if Trump wants war, knows this leads to war and needs the distraction?” she said in her tweet hours after the strike.

“Real question is, will those with congressional authority step in and stop him? I know I will,” the Democrat representative vowed.

Her tweet came in response to Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy who also attacked the president for the strike, because there is nothing President Trump could do that would gain their support.

“Soleimani was an enemy of the United States. That’s not a question,” the senator said to begin his tweet.

“The question is this – as reports suggest, did America just assassinate, without any congressional authorization, the second most powerful person in Iran, knowingly setting off a potential massive regional war?” he said.

It is important to note that the reason the United States struck is because we had intelligence that Soleimani and Iran were planning more attacks against our troops and interests.

It is also important to note that neither Rep. Omar, nor her Democrat colleagues in Congress, have any power to stop the commander in chief from doing his job and protecting American interests.

But none of that matters to the partisan Democrats who would not stand behind President Trump no matter what he did. And patriots torched Rep. Omar for it.
