Sarah Sanders fires back humiliating truth at AOC after she lectures Ivanka Trump

Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders fired back at Rep.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) Sunday after the freshman Democrat lectured

Ivanka Trump about career qualifications.

What did AOC say?

Ocasio-Cortez attacked the first daughter on Twitter Saturday, saying that "being

someone's daughter actually isn't a career qualification."

She also took aim at President Donald Trump, claiming he "phones it in" by

permitting Ivanka — an unpaid senior White House adviser — to engage in

diplomacy with other world leaders.

"It may be shocking to some, but being someone's daughter actually isn't a career

qualification. It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the

world moves on," she charged. "The US needs our President working the G-20.

Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn't hurt either."

The progressive Democrat was responding to video of Ivanka conversing with

French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and

British Prime Minister Theresa May over the weekend at the G-20 summit in Japan.

How did Sanders respond?

In reality, Ocasio-Cortez is "phoning it in," Sanders said, because she spends a

significant amount of time on social media "while destroying jobs in NY."

Sanders' claim that Ocasio-Cortez has destroyed jobs in New York is a reference to

the freshman lawmaker publicly pressuring Amazon against opening its second

headquarters in New York City.

Amazon later capitulated to public pressure, leading New York lawmakers

— including Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) — to blame Ocasio-Cortez for the loss of

tens of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars worth of future economic impact.
